when: DECEMBER 10, 2011 TO DECEMBER 20, 2011. HOURS FOR PICK-UP ARE MONDAY-SATURDAY 9am-5pm, SUNDAY 12pm TO 5pm.
You must have the following items on you when you arrive to pick up the toys:
1- A U.S. Government issued I.D.
-Such as current drivers license or current passport, something with a picture of you on it.
-Not a tax I.D. card, not a Social security card, not a green card.
2- Print, retain, and bring with you the "Online Local Individual Toy Request Form Confirmation" that you will receive in your E-mail.
3- Bring your child(ren's) birth certificate OR a court order.*
It is the applicants' responsibility to have the above items in order to receive toys.
only the parents/guardians of a child(ren) can receive toys.**
*Only Two Documents Are Accepted For Verification Before Toys Are Received. A birth certificate with the requesters name, and the name of the child receiving the toys, must be presented before receiving any toy or a court order stating you (the requester) are the legal guardian of the child receiving the toys MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR A BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
** You cannot send someone in your place to receive toys for you or your child(ren). no brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, godparent or friends.
Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fund raising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted
